I bought this book for my beloved nephew but I was curious about the story..
so I actually read this book during my trip to Pekan...while my husband was driving..(what an unpleasant company) haha
The story was about Hulagu Khan- the grandson of the great leader of Mongol in history- Genghis Khan, who tried to conquer Islamic region..(was it Baghdad? or Mecca? have forgotten about the details)..and he was succeeded due to the betrayal of one of the minister in that islamic country..However, the muslims fought back with the helps from Hulagu Khan's cousin who has converted himself to Islam.
The Islamic history, written in an easy-reading words and an understandable explanations. A great book to learn about Islamic history and a great effort by the writer...Thank you!
